Added 256MB for a total of 512, system acting funny

I've got a Gigabyte GA-7ZX running a T-Bird 850@935, I had 256MB PC133 Crucial, since ram is so cheap these days I bought another identical 256meg stick from Crucial and popped it in. I've got the sticks in memory banks 1 and 3. I would have had to remove my videocard to use bank 2, so I figured I'd see if it would work in 3 before going through the bother of taking out the video card. Anyways, everything seems fine, the only problem is Winamp. When I try and open a file, it delays for about 10 seconds before the list of mp3's shows up. It was always instantaneous, I tried removing and reinstalling it (version 2.76) but it's still doing the same thing. Any ideas?

take out the ram to see if the problem still exists. im pretty sure they are on two seperate differences.

Take the ram out and see if the problem still occurs without the new memory. If it does then please post what cas both of your sticks of ram are and what settings you are running them with.

I pulled the new memory stick and it's still Winamp is still acting up. I tried just the new memory stick and it's doing the same thing. I gather it is unrelated to the memory, (I feel like a dumbass for not thinking of that myself😱)

I just figured out the problem, a setting called Easymove got unselected somehow, I reselected it and the problem is cured😱😱😱😱😱 Thanks for helping guys🙂
