Anyone knows how can I add a Win98 installation, if I already have Win2K insstalled?? How can I add an entry to the boot selector menu of Win2K? Thanks!

just pop in the cd and let it install. you'll have to repair the boot sector with the w2k cd afterwords though

Once you have 98 install modify the boot.ini file to point to what ever drive you setup 98 on.

you can replace boot files, system files or hardware files. You can select one or all. Your choice. Of course they will all be microsoft files not anything loaded on after the install. Works great has saved me.

Biggs,

That is a good question. Please post that after you try. I could not imagine that it would. That would be a huge loop hole in NTFS security. Would be nice to know that the answer is no.

Let us know if you try it.

Thanks

kw7,

You really need to post a LOT more information about your system and how it's configured in order for someone to give you good advice on this. Do you have free unformatted space on your hard drive(s)? Or unused partitions?
