hi :)
i want to get rid of the extra crap xp puts in like messenger, msn explorer and other junk but everytime i do i end up losing stuff i want like my ie6 and the games.. i go into the add/remove windows stuff and see some stuff checked and others not checked and i dont know what is supposed to be checked or unchecked to remove only the stuff i want.

i think MS did this on purpose to make it that people wouldnt bother trying this after the first screw up.

can anyone tell me exactly how irt works so i dont remove something i want or need or point me to a url that does?

thanks for any help

copy this into start->run to completely remove MS Messenger

RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

That will uninstall the program from your machine.
works even if sp1 installed
