For about a month i have noticed that my add/remove programs has been acting up. The problem is that when I scroll downwards there is this large area of empty space and sometimes areas of black and white stripes. Dont know why the hell this is happening. Any advice?

My first thought was spyware. Check your system with softwares like SpyBot S&D and AdAware.
Also, try to search for redundant or non-existent program installations with CCleaner, or with relevant plugins of X-Setup.
(but even this would not explain the black areas..)

Uhh. That's f'd up.

Maybe it's a video driver problem? Is it always the same areas that are blacked out?

You aren't affiliated with the NSA and working on secret projects are you? 🙂

I've seen it before. One entry is taking up a huge amount of space. Look around in the Uninstall section of the registry and see if you see anything weird.

It looks to me like your Video Driver got corrupted
I would reinstall it and see if that fixes it

UPDATE: I went into the registry and removed some electronics art crap and all its subkeys and it worked for me

Thanks for the help guys
