Hey now, everybody!
When I open the "Add or Remove Programs" menu, it seems at first to only list 4 programs, but I can scroll down about 20 pages (!) and the rest of the programs are listed at the bottom of the last page.
I need to know how to get rid of this large gap in the listing and fix this problem. I poked around in the "Uninstall" key in the registry, but I didn't find anything that looked out of place. I did find this posted: This is generally due to the DisplayIcon having a negative number. From here you can either remove the negative number or remove the last application listed: Start/Run/Regedit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{}
It's happening on a fresh "WinXP Pro SP2" install and there are barely any programs installed (so far).
Any ideas? 😕
