Add a "theme" function?

In phpBB, there are multiple "themes" the mods can design/install, and the users can select which one they prefer (see the BBS in my LARP sig section). I'm not familiar with the mod-end of FuseTalk, but if this could somehow be incorporated into the forums as they stand, I believe that would make everyone happy. Have at least two themes: the current one, and the old one just replaced, and possibly others as the mods see fit.

Thoughts? Mod thoughts greatly appreciated, but random-joe user thoughts are good as well 😉

I like the idea...

But I somehow doubt we'll get what we want in this matter, as it would require rewriting a lot of the software... something I don't think will be done.

I doubt it would require much work. I'm 90% sure there has been a mod done for it already (most forum cores have a mod site), all it would take is a little research.

How ironic that he wrote the article, yet doesn't have the feature on the forum that HE administers? Let's all poke him with a big pointy stick until he delivers! Although I suppose he's probably got bigger issues at hand (like actual bugs rather than cosmetics/aesthetics...)

It would be really nice to have multiple themes to choose from, namely the old style and new style (kinda like switching the "XP" vs. "2000" look on Windows XP)
