Adblock Plus used 1.4 GB of mobile data in one month

depends how it's configured

if all the traffic is captured by adblock plus and passes through ABP before leaving the device, android might count all that data towards ABP..

are the data numbers for the other apps consistent with your usage?

Phone browsers do not support plugins, so ad blockers instead proxy all web traffic and pass it to the browser allready filtered.
