Adaware is a parasite!

RapidBlaster? WTF. I think that site just puts stuff in there like "WINWORD.EXE" is a Virus! If you have it, you must buy our software!

Process File: adaware or adaware.exe
Process Name: foobin lptt01
Description: Variant of the RapidBlaster parasite which gets new folder and file name from its controlling server. After that it creates named folder copy itself to that directory, deletes orignal process and run new file.

Sounds like spyware which uses the name of adaware to look like a non-spyware process.

It's all about checks and balances... although I get that this is a joke basically, but in all seriousness:

I use adaware and spybot both. As well as a few other tools like CWShredder.zip and hijackthis to make sure I'm clean. I also use spywareblaster (linked in spybot program) to immunize against a bunch of the more common scripts.

You may be right. When I run adaware, it shows up as ad-aware.exe and NOT adaware.exe
