Arafat has been selling extremely cheap sandforce 2nd Gen sees. I saw a 120gb drive on sale for 139 this morning on Newegg. I'm curious to see if anyone has familiarity with these drives. I'm somewhat interested in buying two and putting them in raid 0 so I can push speeds of greater than 1gb/s combined

I have a s599 120gb that failed in less than 3 months. It took them over 3 weeks to rma the drive but they did send me another new drive to replace it and the rma process is a joke, had to email back and forth to get it started. I purchased an ocz to replace it as my os drive and am still using it now however I cloned it to the replacement adata drive as a backup. I'd really suggest that you consider another brand, one that will offer support that is more readily accessed.
