Hi guys I'm hoping someone can help me here...
I built a PC about a year ago. I used 4gb (2x2gb) Adata AX3U1600GB2G9 AG. The mobo is GA-MA785GMT-UD2H (rev. 1.0)
My original ram shows up in cpu-z, Everest, PC Wizard as DDR3 1600 PC3-12800H (800Mhz)
I recently wanted to add 4gb more ram, so I bought what I thought was the exact same Adata part #. But this ram is showing up as follows:
DDR3-1333 PC3-10700 (667 Mhz) It also has a XMP designation that the original ram did not have. .
Can someone please tell me if these new sticks are the same as the old ones and/or compatible and optimal in my system, or do I need to return them and find ram that is the same as the existing sticks?
