Adaptor for VF700 and 760GT?

Looking for something like this that lets you plug the 3 pin connector on the VF700 into a 7600GT's plug :

I just pulled the white connector "shell" off of the plug and put the 3 pin connector directly on the plug. On my 7900GT (same fan connector) I did this and it works great. One wire doesn't land on anything (RPM control/feedback), but my fan runs 100% speed all the time and it's still very quiet. My GPU stays pretty cool, too.
