Adaptive Sync?

Hi, i planning to buy new budget monitor and i pretty much decidet for Acer B247Y.
It's 1080p/75hz, it have speakers, IPS panel (all things that i need) and the only thing that bothers me is is it have freesync or not because i want to pair it with AMD GPU.
On official site it say that it have "Adaptive Sync"...What is that and is that different then FreeSync? Tnx.

where did you find that description? When i try to open that monitor site it's just say error page not found :/

If we wanted to be nitpicky you could say that the monitor supports the DP1.2 specification for DisplayPort Adaptive-Sync which means the monitor supports AMD freesync and not nVidia Gsync
