Adapter for External BR/DVD player

I just removed my BR/DVD drive from my dead PC. It has SATA power and data connections, 15 and 7 pin. I'm looking for an adapter that will allow me to power the drive and connect via USB to other devices. I see options that are meant for HDDs or SSDs, but not specifically for BR/DVD drive.

I'm guessing those adapters are OK to use, but I'm hoping that someone can confirm and recommend a good option.

Thanks.

If your BR drive is encased, any decent SATA to USB adapter should work. This talkless video illustrates. If the BRT drive is not encased, then the best option would be to put it in a powered case that has SATA internal and USB external connections.
