i recently bought an adaptec sata raid 5 controller from an atot member. the very first time setting up the raid 5 config. with 5 hdds, the controller could detect all 3 hdds in port 0,1,2. however, after rebooting the pc, it cannot detect the hdd from port 1 anymore. there were no hardware changes. however, the rest of the ports except port 1 can detect the rest of the hdds. could port 1 just fry for some reason?
