Adaptec go back problem. can you help??

I am working on a computer and someone installed Adaptec's Go back program. this is the first time i have ever seen it. the problem is some one tried to remove it by deleting files...:disgust: now i can't start the program to try and stop it from loading all together. the person doesn't have the install disk anymore.. i don't know if they ever had them. It starts loading befoer win98, or it seems too, can anyone tell me how to stop it from loading at all and uninstall it. ther is nothing listed in the autoexec.bat and config.sys file that starts it.

Do a search in the registry or in the VXD's. That's probably your best bet without having to re-install.

Have you tried running MSCONFIG and seeing if it listed under startup? If it is then just uncheck it.
