Adaptec Easy CD Creator Problem?

During the burning of audio cd's the cd will eject half way through or 75% and ask for a destination cd, i have to restart the program and pick up where i left off manually in order for it to finish the tracks and finalize, why? whats wrong with it? not Win ME compatible? help?
