I want to copy *.mp3 files to a CD as *.wav. I am completely lost. I just installed a plextor PXW9432. I downloaded a few programs, and I think they will not do it. Adaptec wants to sell an advanced program with a coupon for $69. Is there a freeware or a shareware that you would recommend. You can e-mail me also arniea@loop.com

Thanks,
Arnold

Try using Nero instead. It can read mp3 files directly and burn an audio CD for you. No need to convert mp3's to wav yourself.

I convert mine using winamp....it has a disc writer plugin that works just fine.go to options and highlight it, then it will ask you for a directory to put them in....I use a temp folder that I delete afterwards......good luck
