Adaptec CD burner software

Anyway to disable the software loading everytime I start the computer OR getting rid of their banner that pops up? Thanks.

Yep go to "Run" in the start menu and type "msconfig" (no quotes). In the screen go to the Startup tab and disable everything connected to the burner software.
