adam sandler and rob schneider question

why is it that everytime one of them is a the lead actor the other gets the cameo role? are they best friends or is there a contract?

SNL alums and close friends. The same reason that Steve Buscemi has odd cameos in a lot of Adam Sandler films, though Buscemi wasn't an alum, I don't think.

In Duece Bigalow Sandler didn't get an appearance (which is fine by me since I'm not a Sandler fan.) However, Norm MacDonald got a cameo.

they are friends and also many of schniders movies have been made by "happy madison" productions which i assume is a sandler owned production company so maybe thats why he is in many os RObs movies
