on newegg theres a oem 3200 newcastle (ADA3200AEP4AX) for $163 here

and theres a retail 3200 newcaslte (ADA3200AXBOX) for 225 here

is it worth the extra 62 bucks to go with the retail?

heck no!

the OEM is a CG revision..

the only benefit is the 3 year warranty so if you want it, get the retail box or else save the money by buying an aftermarket heatsink (thermalright, swiftech, etc)

huh... i'm not completely in the know of these OC'ing terms... would you say it is viable to OC a 3000+ to 2.3-2.4 with stock retail fan and a decently cooled case (few fans inside) or is that suicide?
