Hi, above are the computer parameters for my computer.

I just installed a new motherboard, sound card and display card in my computer and the USB speakers. But, I get no sound from my computer at all.

I disabled the sound from the motherboard due to conflicts.

I used a cable splitter to hook up the burner and the DVD drive to the sound card.

Could it be possible that the speakers are USB and it doesn't connect directly to the sound card or do I need an external speakers to hook up to the sound card...

I tried almost everything. Would it be possible to give me a few clues on how to approach this problem at hand?

Thanks,

I still have a pair of the ADA305 laying around and as far as I can remember the USB was only for controlling the speakers via the Altec Lansing Multimedia software. the speakers should work fine with out the software, just hook them up through the SB Audigy.

Are you getting any sound? make sure you check all the drivers and make sure you have the onboard sound disabled. - Mike
