NT wondering if the AD11 will support the athlon XP and if not when in Soyo, Abit, FIC, Asus going to have models available of the KT266A? Thanks for info in advance...

anyone know? I'm pretty sure it will, I think I'm going to buy the new 1700XP chip and use it on my AD11 until more KT266A solutions come out and I'll hold onto my athlon 1.2 to use in my AD11 for my second system when i get a new mobo, can anyone please confirm the AD11 can support the Athlon XP processors?

link to motherboards recommended for Athlon XP Processors

I'm new to inserting links here, but just ran across one which specifies a list of currently recommended motherboards for Athlon XP processors. The newest Anand Tech review of the processor says they had to flash a new bios in the beginning but then....LOOK OUT! It kicked...bigtime! Epox 8KTA+ might have been used. You can look it up. Sorry.

On the above link, look at the very bottom under "Other closely following". There you will find the AD11. I'm guessing they are scrambling right now for a Bios Update or waiting for AMD to finish testing it. I think You're in Luck!

Congrats!

How do I find out which revision I have? With some Asus boards they put it on the bottom of a PCI slow towards the bottom of the motherboard, that is very annoying and I'm hoping FIC doenst do the same silly thing and I can find out which revision I have without doing that... SiSoft Sandra says 1.X so I have no idea...
