Saw this ad on ebay....

"This auction is for a Like-New PNY nVidia GeForce 4 Ti4200 64MB AGP Video Card that was recently removed from a system that I upgraded to GeForce MX. It has been tested by me and confirmed to be in 100% working condition. It does not include any other cables or the manual, but does include the original install CD (not seen in the pic). Also, all the newest drivers are an easy download from nVidia's website. Great card for games or any 2D/3D application. Also is guaranteed not to be DOA. Feel free to Email me with any questions and I will do my best to answer them quickly."

If he pulls a Ti4200 to put in an MX, I'd like to be there when he pulls his Athlon XP 3200 for a Duron 800.

Perhaps you should make your way to off topic where this thread would be more suited...

p.s. ROFL 😀

I'm sure he just meant to say "FX". Still funny though.

Hehe, who knows with the casual computer gamer or computer person. I routinely go to Fry's, Best Buy, CC, etc... to hear the salesperson pitch on how great the FX5200 or Radeon 9000 offer blazing speeds and how it'll be great for their computer for years to come. After that bait, then they reel them in with the did you hear about our warranty service? Or offer to install the card for $35 with professional software installation. Thx for the laugh, might be better in the off topic forum

He could be pulling it to sell and make a few bucks if he doesn't need the speed and bought the MX for cheap. Not much of an "upgrade" though....
