AD&D Software, what's out there?

I'm just starting to get back into gaming, so I thought I would go and see what has been released for AD&D over the years by the community, from what I've seen not much but what has been is very useful and ensightful. Here is a run down of what I have gotten off the Net...If anyone posts something else, I will append it to this post.

MyInfo it's an outlining software. Very useful because you can categorize your info and it supports some HTML(basically hyperlinking). Fairly useful!

Dungeon Crafter a great mapping utility for being free, this is no CC2, but if you don't want to drop the clams for that, this will do nicely..definitely worth it.

PCGen honestly, I was in a hurry when I got this and it was too complicated off the bat, I'm going back to it and looking through the documentation when I get the time

Some Excel spreadsheets good stuff, a customizable spreadsheet..well worth playing around with

Hero Forge this is another that glanced over the other day and I'm going back to...

Tablesmith and others this thing has interesting potential, it's his own scripting language and you can make scripts to do certain calculations...also lets you use HTML, pretty neat stuff done by followers of it. There's also a few other programs of interest on there

RPM kind of slow a hard to use, but has a lot of stuff...

That's all I could find..if you have more please post about it and I will append it, also, if you have a 'review' for one of these, I will add it underneat the program

I have a friend who has been a Dungeon Master for over 10 years and is currently DMing a 3rd ed AD&D rules game. He is also a computer RPG gamer and pretty knowledge able. Email me and I'll see if I can get him to come up with some sources to help you out.

BTW, I found these comments on the www.poolofradiance.com general forum which may or may not be of use to you:

"DnD as a PnP game is nowhere near dying out. In fact, it is growing quite large and fast. Due to some smart thinking by WotC, it much easier for ANYONE to publish products that work with DnD. WotC implemented the Open Gaming License, or OGL which is something akin to the popular *nix world, an "open source" game. The ww.opengamingfoundation.org site can tell you all about what you can and can't do with the new 3rd edition DnD. Beware: You most likely need to consult a laywer if there's anything you want to make money from.
If you are wanting to do something online, check out these places: http://www.rpgrealms.com
http://www.openrpg.com

I'm an avid PnP DnD player/DM. I am currently working on expansion materials myself for the PnP game."
