Ad causing page reload? Text editor glitching

I was just typing up a post and the page reloaded on me. Not from an error or anything, I am guessing from an ad or some JS. Only time this has happened to me here, so it might have just been a one-off thing on my end.

However, the text editor regularly glitches since the forum changed hands. Basically, the text freezes in its position and scrolling just "smudges" it. Can still type and what not, but I have no idea what I am typing / where I am typing unless I only type on the bottom of the post (ie: where I know the text has already ended). The only way to get around it is reloading the page.

I am on IE 11.0.9800.0, update versions 11.0.8 KB2953522

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

I've tried but can't replicate it on my systems.

Also, I forgot to mention, the only change I've made browser-wise is to disable hardware acceleration.

Maybe it's just me, since I see I'm the only one to report and the text editor problem has been happening to me for about a month.

Can you give it a try using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox?

Try a different browser and let me know if you still see the issue.

I'll switch over to Chrome and let you know if it happens again at some point
