Just go download your favorite adblocker. The new Edge is just based on the Chromium engine.

If you don't find what you need in the Microsoft extension collection (you probably won't, as they don't have many yet), you can also use Chrome extensions with it from the Chrome web store.

Looks like he forked gorhills version. Last update was April 2018. Not much activity compared to gorhill.
