Ad-Aware SE not working anymore

Ad-Aware scans all the way until it comes to C:\Windows\System32\ShellExt where it gets stuck. This problem has only started after upgrading to 1.06. Happens even on fresh install of ad-aware.
Does anyone know how to fix this or do I have to go back to use 1.05?
 
I haven't experienced the problem, but have you done a full scandisk lately to check for corrupt files? Just taking a stab in the dark here.

get spycleaner gold...its better and also free

 
Worked again after running skandisk eventhough there was only one corrupted file and it wasn't even in the system32\ShellExt :/
