Ad Aware Question

When I am scanning with Ad aware it says i have 22 running proccesses, but doesnt give me the opportunity to delete them upon completion of the scan... how do I go about doing this?

These are user and system processes you do not want to delete them ;) Pull up task manager. Are you familiar with TM? See if there are any "odd" processes running. Any you dont recognize as running b4 you had this problem?

I know TM pretty well, but when I pull it up there are more than 22 running proccesses. Ill take a sshot and post it, and maybe u can tell me whats wrong here

everything looks good there no funny stuff that I see. Did some searchin on google for some processes I did not recognize. All seem legit although mal-ware came be named anything. Hmm. You do have latest build on ad-aware se correct?

In this pic, the 8 processes listed at the left are not cause for concern. If there were any "processes identified" in red at the right, then those are a problem.

If there's any concern you might have spyware, just download Hijack This (a Zip file), run it, hit Save Log, and post the text from the logfile into Schadenfroh's spyware-removal thread over in Software for analysis. Follow his instructions step-by-step when he replies.

The info. that Ad-aware gives about Processes running does not mean Good bad it is just background info.
