AD and Server 2003 -

I have to reformat my son's PC, recreated his account on LOCAL and also in the AD. The problem is that he can see the others PC on the LAN, can access the shared folders but CAN'T open any of them, even thought he has an account on each PC (as a local admin.) and also he is a Adm. on the AD. He gets the error message that he has not rights, blablabla.

WIN XP PRO SP2 -
Norton AV
ZoneLab Firewall
Microsoft Antispy
Microsoft Firewall NOT installed

What is wrong with this picture?

Best regards

Try these:
1.disable ZoneAlarm
2.remove the PC from the domain, and then add it back in. (remember to reboot)

if still doesn't work, recreate his account on the AD.

What happened is that he was login locally and not on the domain. I did not realized until I saw the login screen. Duh (my fault)

Thanks guys

Eltano
