AD and BC versus CE and BCE

AD/BC just because I grew up with it and I'm stubborn to change. However, I still probably couldn't tell you what AD was.

I believe it stands for Anno Domini

AD/BC. Even if you use CE/BCE, you're still basing the year on the birth of Christ (albeit a few years off), why deny it? If they picked some arbitrary point in time to be the dividing line, maybe I'd buy it. But just changing the name because you're upset that our dates are based on the birth of a guy 2000 years ago... that's stupid.
