Acura oil filter question

I have an Acura RSX. The last time I had the oil changed at Walmart they changed the filter but I don't know what kind. Is that ok, or should I buy a filter specifically for the RSX and have the oil change guys use that? Thanks.

They either use their in-house brand (Supertech, made by Champion Labs/STP) or Fram filters as far as I'm aware.

They do use REALLY cheap oil, however. If my car wasn't a burner I'd use M1S.

We get the oil changed at walmart for years, no problems yet. 166kmiles on the car which has been at walmart the most (accord) and our volvo gets done there too

You could get a mobil one change there for like $30. You could also upgrade to the FRAM XG which has a much bigger oil capacity and has been reviewed as a good filter. I got my last oil change there.
