Perhaps Audi to follow:

Just like the X6, still not quite sure on the target audience though. Not about capacity - passenger or cargo, not about the performance with the added weight or aerodynamics. At least it should have AWD while keeping the shape of a sedan. If you want to be different, this is you.

I find it odd that Honda would make such a goofy, function-follows-form vehicle - that's not really their history. I am a BMW lover but think the X6 is ridiculous. I will say that the renders would make this the best-looking current Acura, though.

I saw my first X6 on the road the other day. I think the "Bangle Butt" criticism has always been overblown but the X6 is one of the few vehicles I'll call "hideous".

Show me the front grill. I'm sure angle shots of a pigs leg would be appealing as well.

Guess I'm crazy, but I like it. And I like the X6. But I've always liked the fastback/hatchback look.

RDX and MDX.. ZDX?

To give people a traditional coupe body with height (visibility)? Give people with money a choice to be different? Not much in the practicality department as mentioned.

Ugh.. Wish Acura would make a AWD turbo TSX already.

If they did it would probably come with a flappy paddle gearbox only.

So true. :(

Has the 6spd TL-SH been canceled? What makes you think they'd castrate an AWD TSX?

Those pictures are horribly underexposed. :p

I'm one of the few people who must like the look of the X6 and this bodystyle.

I don't mind the style but in person the X6's rear end was awful. Side and front angles were okay I guess.

I've ridden around in the X6 and I still don't understand the point of it. It looks like an ugly version of the X5.

This is a segment that is delivering answers to questions noone is asking.
What would a heavier jacked up coupe with extra doors be like? What would an SUV with less practicality and rear head room look like?
So basically they combined all the drawbacks of coupes, and all the drawbacks of SUVs in one vehicle. It's just sad that Acura developed this but has no answer to the likes of G37 Coupe. At least BMW has the 3 and 6 coupes, and Audi released the A5 before they went on this tangent. Really, they should have just gotten an MDX, rolled it so that the rear quarters got squashed and then sold it :) Would make about as much sense.
