I always thought Acuras were for old people desperately still trying to be young.

I don't like it either, but maybe the Japanese market will...

One thing that would help, observers generally agree, would be a move even more upmarket. That's likely to happen with the next-generation RL, but unless there's a last-minute surprise, Tom Elliott, head of Honda's overall U.S. operations, says there'll be no V-8 engine in the lineup. That's a major mistake, says Schuster, as Americans see the V-8 and even larger engines as symbols of luxury. Lexus, by comparison, is developing a V-12.
Buahahaha. Acura = OWNED:p

I think that car looks awful. According to that article it seems as if it was designed for the US market, and for whatever reason they made it look like crap. Probably so they can bring the Japanese or Euro version over later on and mark up the price to it.

It does look kinda like a Saturn, but I was actually thinking it resembles the new Grand Prix.

Also, wow, with Toyota developing a V-12 for the Lexus line . .. wow.

Honda/Acura has always made at best boring vehicles, and at worst downright ugly vehicles. Looks like they're keeping the status quo.

As opposed to the blood quickening excitement of GM/Ford/Dodge/Toyota/Nissan/everyone else. Most cars ever made are boring. Hell, having driven all of Mercedes' C class lineup, those are boring too. Any make that has an even remotely respectable market share (IE not porsche) puts out mostly boring cars.

You guys can talk smack all day about Acuras all you want but half of you fools couldn't even afford one. If nothing else, I bet even an RSX is a lot nicer than what most of you drive.

Bingo! We have a winner. Interior still pales in comparison to the ES330. The TL's interior screams "expensive Accord" while the ES is truly luxurious

Considering the TL came out like two weeks ago, you probably haven't even sat in one yet.

I think he is basing his opinion off the pics.

Personal attacks and assumptions rock. Congratulations, you win at the internet!!!

Also, Acura can be considered a luxury line, but it is not that far up the scale.
