I have always been a skeptic of these two types of therapy.
But I went ahead and tried both this week, and I can definitely feel the improvement.
Few months ago I banged knees with someone while playing bball, and i couldn't crouch ever since.
I went to the acupuncture place and let the doctor push a needle into the knee, voila, healed.
Then a moment ago I went to a chiropractor to have my left shoulder fixed (uneven shoulders),
he did some crazy pull on all of my joints. He snapped my neck, knee, and back. I am pretty sure his moves are illegal in US health system, because it was pretty freaking dangerous. On top of that, he doesn't have any license in Hong Kong, by the line of patients were very long.
What I want to say is, if you have joint pain and is about to travel to China (Hong Kong in my case), you should give the local acupunturists and chiropractors a visit. I took the risk and it was well worth it.
