"GodDAMN awesome dude!"

That's very sad, but you gotta admit she practically asked to be shot.

It doesn't matter the situation. If you are confronted with 4 armed robbers, you don't taunt them! Sheesh!

I feel badly for her fiancee.

its got to be one of the worst ways to lose someone, when it happens right in front of you and you're powerless to stop it.

I can't believe you guys are criticizing her for having some balls. Granted, it was probably the wrong thing to do in this case, but the criminals are the ones who shot her for a purse. I cannot fathom the mind of a person who shots another person for something worth so little.

If I kick a lion in the face, who are you going to call an idiot?

The people who make fun of you and criticize you for trying to defend yourself.

Damned straight!

Makes me want to carry around a gun because of situations like these. When I walk in the streets, I'm ALWAYS suspicious. I have a "TRUST NO ONE" attitude.

That's why I'm criticizing her.

You're comparing physically assualting an animal with no capacity for rational thought to saying something to a person?

That's like saying that if I go swimming in front of you, I should expect to be eaten, because if you were a shark, then you would eat me.

Nevermind that in this case, the "lion" was already trying to eat you when you kicked it.

OK. So you have a gun.

You're confronted by 4 or 5 men with guns who want your gun and your wallet.

What are you going to do?

Well if I was confronted then yeah obiviously I would give up. But with my suspicious attitude, I would have confronted the men first before they stepped any closer. I always check out my surroundings and to see if anything is not normal. Second of all, I would have never been inside a bar in the Lower East Side and out in the streets in the wee hours. That was a bad decision to begin with. I'm never out in the streets that late.
