To be honest, how often do you *really* care about the voice in a game (unless it's a movie time in)?

I wouldn't mind if they went to just subtitles only.

Even at $300+ an hour for voice "talent," it will remain a tiny, tiny part of the overall development cost.

So if companies use this as a reason to raise prices, they're lying.

bah..I can't name many video game voice actors except for Cam Clarke who seems to do lots of cartoons as well (he did Leonardo in TMNT), Simon Templeton (Legacy of Kain) and Michael Bell (Soul Reaver)...mmm..thats about all I know.

hooray for them I guess.
