Your typical comedy guys: Ben Stiller, Adam Sandler, Will Ferrell, Rob Snyder, David Spade, Chris Farley and even Steve Carrell (exception, Little Miss Sunshine).
Morgan Freeman, Samuel L. Jackson, Cuba Gooding Jr., Denzel Washington....these are just the ones off the top of my head at the moment. There are plenty more.
Edit: Oh, also look up the filmography of Madeleine Stowe(sp?). She's played the leading lady of so many A-list actors. Talk about type-cast.

on the opposite end of the spectrum, id say that Jim Carrey is a well rounded actor...taking on roles from the Ace Ventura series, to 23, or Cable guy.

Dane Cook, Tea Leoni, Colin Farrell, Pauly Shore, David Spade, Jessica Alba, Sarah Jessica Parker, Angelina Jolie, Dennis Quaid, Jennifer Tilly, Jack Black (excpetion King Kong), Will Smith (great actor, but he is the same guy in every movie..he's just so affable), Drew Barrymore, Julia Roberts (Same as Will Smith), Ben Stiller,
disagree. in his action/comedy flicks yes.
but he can play serious roles as in Pursuit of Happiness and Ali (didn't watch so it's based on assumption).

interesting question, when you think about most of the major actors/actresses pretty much play the same role over and over.
I think a harder question would be who does'nt play the same role? I'd say Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Jeffrey Wright for starters.

not to take this off topic but Samuel L. Jackson, Matt Damon, and Johnny Depp are very versatile actors.
I agree with that except for "Stranger Than Fiction" which was a really different role for him, and I thought he was great in it.
I could disagree with several of these. Which is kind of odd because there is enough typecasted actors that you don't have to toss out the ones that actually try doing various roles just because you don't like them.
