"this action is only valid for products that are currently installed" That's what the computer tells me when I try to "detect and repair", which is what Outlook needs to do since it's somehow not being seen as the default mail client right now, even tho it's set as such. I had a huge problem a couple of weeks ago, but managed to escape a reinstall, but a lot of the registry was f*cked up. I fixed most of it, but when I loaded it up, none of the office products would launch from the start menu, giving me the same error as above....I redid the shortcuts, and they work now.
I don't know what to associate this problem with, and I don't know if I can somehow fix the registry with the Office CD, or I would have to reinstall it.
BTW, I have a Toshiba e310, and it was fine before...I even uninstalled and reinstalled ActiveSync.
Any suggestions are very welcome, as I've been listening to same damn album for the last 2 weeks.
