ActiveCGM Viewer + .tif files

A co-worker installed an ActiveX plugin which loaded Micrografx ActiveCGM viewer which is now the default viewer for *.tif files. The viewer is crap and he wants Microsofts imaging program to be the default for *.tif files. Under file types, I made sure Microsoft Imaging is the default program for *.tif files but they still open in IE using this ActiveCGM viewer. I went into c:\windows\downloaded program files and deleted the ActiveX plugin but yet the program still remains. It's not listed in Add/Remove programs and I can't find any trace of it anywhere else. Anyone know how to get this off his system and to set MS Imaging as the default program for *.tif files?!? The O/S is Win98 SE....
