Is it fast on scanning? How does it compare to the scan speeds of AntiVir or Nod32?

It seems to scan as fast as Nod32. Maybe a little slower, but it's free.

I have not used AntiVir before.

little slower on my rig but who cares? i set to scan files overnight when i go to sleep.

Its realtime protection is not noticeable if that is what you mean.
