He may be a bit over excited, but he is not mentally ill. He's a long time poster to the forum, and getting attacked.

-John

From his posting history and inability to accept any evidence that contradicts his ramblings (perfect example: his refusal to acknowledge Nikki Haley was not an immigrant) seems to indicate either a genetic disorder is mental illness.

so is the nutjob in the springs a right wing extremist?
It doesn't really matter what party he is a fan of, or what religion he professes to believe in. He's an evil, misled individual.

fwiw, I think I read somewhere that he was passing out anti-Obama literature. That kind of fits the profile of right wing.

It's inexcusable that they've been silent on this - fearful to offend the extreme right wing nuts in their party who vote in the primaries. Really bizarre that so many, even on these forums, who have stated that if the Muslim Imams don't immediately denounce these acts of violence, then they must be complicit. Pot... kettle...

You're still missing the point. As I tried to point out above - it doesn't matter what religion he belongs to - this is not what true Christians OR true Muslims believe in - they don't believe in violence like this. But one party in the US seems to love to paint all Muslims with a broad brush whenever any Muslim commits an atrocity like this. As soon as you imply that it's someone in the right wing who did this, they get offended. I.e., it went over your head that such rhetoric is offensive and worse than useless - it creates more divisiveness in our nation and in the world. Everyone should be coming together to solve these problems. One group in the U.S. seems hell bent on preventing that.

I wasn't offended in the least. Honestly, I thought the guy would turn out to be a hard core christian, and crazy. Right now, it looks like he's just crazy.

The desire to point a trembling finger and pronounce condemnation on others is the refuge of the ignorant, or the work of a propagandist. Claiming that this is the work of Fox news or the vast right wing conspiracy is simply the pot calling the kettle black.

To a degree though, it's almost like the chickens coming home to roost. Wasn't it Fox news who portrayed the false story about Planned Parenthood profiting from selling fetal tissue longer than any other news outlet? Even after several investigations found no evidence of wrong-doing, Fox was still running with a narrative that they were conducting illicit activities - hell, even while the gunman was still in the PP building, a Republican Congressman was still perpetuating that myth. It's long time that leaders - on both sides of the aisle - realize that there are consequences to their partisan lies.

That's just your guilty conscience. Two weeks ago, you blamed an entire major religion -- even the children -- for what happened in Paris. So now, of course, you're paranoid and afraid of being done unto as you have done unto. Quit being such a dbag to everyone who isn't just like you, and you'll have less to worry about.

Really I did?

Please show me specifically where I did this.

Why dont you take the same advice as your handing out to me?
Why dont you call out your left buddies who are some of the biggest d-bags on this forum?

Oh you cant because their on your side can you?

Don't ruin your good post with the "both sides" bullshit. Both sides are not the same in regards to this issue therefore both sides don't need to realize the consequences of their rhetoric, one side does and I have zero faith it will happen.

Here's a tip for ya...

This thread is about the "Active shooter in Colorado Springs" and it is telling that you're driving the conversation to ... Muslims!

Brian

and yet you fail to point that out to all the people that have dragged every other event into this topic.

why is that?

yes one side is able to say that there is some connection between radical Islam and terrorism. The other side calls those people racist, then calls white people terrorists, because you know, they're white.

There is literally no way of learning that from watching Fox News.
Anyone who does watch them believes that "myth" is 100% fact, as proven by video.

You're like a puppy barking at its reflection because it doesn't realize it is just a mirror held up in front of it.

No you stupid fuck. One side see's people who aren't like them as terrorist despite the fact that the majority of the group of people they demonize is not in any way a terrorist or a terrorist sympathizer. Just like that same group sees most brown people from Mexico as illegals who rape our women and bring drugs into this country despite the fact that there is no evidence to such claims.

Do you know what people are called who group entire races into stereo types in order to demonize them? If it's not a racist then by all means come up with a better name for the people that you constantly defend and find excuses for.

Really?

So when fox runs this report or repeats similar content, there is no way anyone watching fox news could learn that?

Despite this claim by a Republican presidential candidate being thoroughly debunked?

It seems to be a religious thing. Religious people killing normal people.
