Active network changed all of the sudden? (windows 7)

I woke my computer from sleeping and launched my browser and a windows message appeared asking me to selection a location for "Network 2" and to make it either a home network or public network.

I know my old network wasn't named "network 2" so why did windows find a new network all of the sudden?

Is this something I should be concerned about security wise? I don't use wireless, I'm directly connected to my router. I've been using windows 7 for over a year and this is the first time I've seen it do this so I'm not sure what to make of it.

Thanks for any assistance

edit

The only thing I can think of is I did change to a new router, but this was over a week ago... and I've been using my computer constantly since then. Maybe windows is just now noting the change?
