Active NB Cooling?

Is active northbridge cooling really necessary? I have an IS7 and plan on OC my 2.4C to as far as it will go on stock voltage. I wanted to get a Zalman CNPS7000 AlCu and maybe one of the Zalman NB heatsinks. Also, what are acceptable temperatures for the CPU and Northbridge?
 
The IS7 already has active cooling on it.

Buying a Zalman NB heatsink will just put your mind at ease more than anything.
