Active Directory on XP home

Hi,

I was hoping I could get some help getting active directory to work on XP. I downloaded and installed ADAM.. is ADAM all I need to for active directory? Is AD a part of ADAM, or is it separate? If it is a part of ADAM, how does one access it once installed?

Thanks

ADAM is AD-lite. It is not full Active Directory. It's basically just an LDAP store, generally used by applications. You can have ADAM in an AD environment, they are completely separate.

You can't run full AD on XP, it requires a server OS. ADAM will run on XP or 2003.
