Active Directory computer objects and logging in a timestamp

Someone said this is possible and I'm looking into a way to do it.

Whenever a user logs into a computer on the domain. I'd like the computer object description filed to have a date and user stamp on the computer object. Is this possible to do in realtime or close? Maybe nightly? Will it strain AD?

We are on AD 2003, but I'd like to wait for 2008 unless it's the same?
