ActivatingTRIM on HP dm1z

If you look in the device manager, what devices appear under "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers"?

You need to roll back the AMD drivers to the Standard SATA AHCI controller. I have an Acer netbook with an AMD chipset and could not get those drivers to properly support TRIM on Windows 7 or 8. Using the built-in Microsoft ones, TRIM works and you can also manually TRIM using the Intel SSD Toolbox.
