I have a mouse with a button by the thumb I use in Windows for going back a page in my browser, anyone know how to get this working in Suse 9.2 with KDE? Also, my scrollwheel works, but when I click on it, it goes to a different page, I'd like the same functionality I have in Windows when I click on it, an icon appears and I can change the scroll speed.

Any help would be great.

If you middle click in firefox/mozilla, the browser will try to go to a website with the URL of whatever is in your clipboard. The middle click is also used for pasting stuff in X, so expect that behavior, it's correct.

Try setting up your extra button in X, then see if there is an extension for Firefox/Mozilla to utilize it.
