Activating an unlocked iPhone on AT&T prepaid?

Anyone know if it is possible to get a phone from this place, and walk over to an AT&T store and have it activated on their $25/mo monthly plan?

We're trying to find an inexpensive way to get an iPod at low cost without a contract. It sounds awfully risky.

There are plenty of options. And you don't need an unlocked iphone necessarily. ATT model works fine without unlocking.

I would suggest airvoice $10 plan.
