ACTIONTEC 56K Internal PCI Fax/Modem - The free one from Circuit City with rebates - HELP!

Hi there,
"Bought" this modem for my mother - she installed it without any trouble at all.

However she cannot find the setup for the fax and answerphone software on the CD-ROM.

Did anybody here get this modem? If so can you tell me how to install the required software - I'm in the US and she is in the UK so I can't just pop round and help her out.

If chatted with her about what to look for but she can't seem to find any setup files on the supplied disk

I'm actually totally impressed that she managed to take the old modem out, install the new one and send me an ICQ message to let me know

I picked one of those up just cause it was free. I installed it in the system but it doesn't seem to work. I haven't troubleshooted it very well (since everywhere I have had my computer has ethernet access), but it seems that it doesn't work for me. It very well may be that I have a defective modem. However, I looked on their CD and their provided communication software didn't install right in Windows 2000. It crashed for some reason while installing. I don't think they had drivers on the CD if I remember correctly and the modem is never configured properly for Windows 2000's satisfaction.

If you want, I do have the CD and can answer any questions you want about it once I get home this evening.

I basically just need to know where the answerphone and fax (Bitware software) setup is located on the CD ROM

I read mixed reports about this modem at the Circuit City website.
