The sale is good till Tuesday July 2nd. The speakers are OEM, but still a really good deal. Only if I had the money...🙁
 
Just came back from Fry's in Manhattan Beach, CA -- they had 3 boxes left (I didn't ask if they had more in stock). I got one of 'em for my sis 🙂 Pretty kewl. 25-watt speaker system for $21.59 total (with Tax).
 
The speakers are great! Never has my computer sound so good. Only for $20🙂 I say that's a fair deal. Good going-away-to-college gift?😉
 
These are OEM? They come in the Altec Lansing box and everything. Includes manuls etc. Even coverd by their one year warranty.

I might buy another set tomorrow. Hmm....these usually sell for $39. $33 if your lucky. And I'm talking about local B&amp;M stores. The lowest price you can find online, including shipping is $37

My local Sam's Club in Charleston, SC has had these for a few weeks at $19.98 with no limit. They are listed as &quot;Power Cube 3-Piece 25 watt Spker System&quot; Item #202507 on Sam's web site.
 
The idea of a 4&quot; SUBwoofer is just awesome! I can remember when 4&quot; drivers were primarily used for midrange frequencies. I wonder if that 4&quot; subwoofer has a one foot excursion limit.

I find it very interesting that a different set of criteria is used for computer audio. Has anybody used their Mark Levinson power amps with their computer speakers yet?
